Funhouse Comedy brings a laughter-packed night to The Midland Railway, Ripley on Friday August 5th.

Headlining is comedian and writer John Ryan who has appeared on TV in such shows as, ‘The Weakest Link’, ‘Watchdog’ and ‘Bring It On’ and also presents on Liberty Radio as well as having written for ‘Teletubbies’. His cutting wit; vast awareness of the world around him and affable persona keep his audiences totally hooked.

Support comes from the quirky James Dowdeswell who has appeared on such TV shows as ‘Russell Howard’s Good News’, ‘Celebrity Deal Or No Deal’ and who also played The Count in Ricky Gervais’ ‘Extras’. His intelligent and inventive storytelling is delivered from a slightly strange perspective which is both entertaining and captivating.

Completing the line-up will be the outrageous comedian and magician Wayne the Weird. Bamboozling and fascinating the audience with trickery, his balance of comedy, magic and banter is the recipe for his success.

Compere for the night is the appealing Carl Jones, who has a natural ability of telling humorous stories, which draw in the entire crowd.
