Funhouse Comedy Night at The Blessington CarriageDate: Mon 24th Mar Time: 20:00 Funhouse Comedy returns to The Blessington Carriage, Derby on Monday March 24th for a fun-filled night. Headlining will be comedian and political activist Kate Smurthwaite. Regularly appearing on TV and Radio News Channels, she tackled Ken Clarke at her first appearance on Question Time in January. Winner of a ‘Three Weeks Editor’s Award’ at last years Edinburgh Festival, her appealing character and articulate address intrigues her audiences as she mesmerizes them with her unique observational humour. Plus a full supporting line-up of three other comedians in the form of; ‘Britain’s Got Talent 2012 Semi-Finalist’ the charming Callum Oakley with his clever stories, cheeky banter merchant Lovdev Barpaga and Chris Washington with his hilarious tales about being a postman. Compere for the night will be the lively and playful Spiky Mike.
