Funhouse Comedy Night at Bar OneDate: Sun 22nd Jun Time: 19:30 Comedy All-Dayer at Bar One, Derby Funhouse Comedy brings more great comedy to Bar One, Derby on Sunday June 22nd with its Edinburgh Festival Preview All-Dayer. 2.00pm – Ivo Graham – Bow Ties and Johnnies This articulate Eton graduate with a natural gift for telling stories and ‘So You Think You’re Funny’ previous winner; is taking his superbly-worded and perceptive material up to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Having moved out of his Gran’s, he’s back on the prowl, sit tight it’s going to be a fun ride! 3.25pm – Paul McCaffrey – Paul or Nothing The friendly and mischievous Paul McCaffrey, who has appeared on BBC 3’s ‘Impractical Jokers’ and ‘Russell Howard’s Good News’, has a new hour of exuberant accounts to share. With his genuine magnetism and unique personality his wonderfully funny tales never fail to please. 4.50pm – Patrick Monahan – Adventures in a Monahan Land Patrick Monahan who recently appeared on ITV’s ‘Splash’ has a new hour of lively, clean comedy. The appealing Irish/Iranian/Geordie with a very mischievous personality plays with his audiences from the moment he approaches the stage. Using his observations he draws them into his world and then proceeds with his marvellous anecdotes. 6.15pm – John Robins – This Tornado Loves You Following last years award winning Edinburgh show which was a critically acclaimed sell-out, the charming and genial John Robins is heading back to Edinburgh with his show about love and happiness. As seen on BBC3’s ‘Russell Howard’s Good News’, his voracious enthusiasm is second only to his tongue in cheek hyperbole. 7.40pm – Martin Mor - kuh-MEE-dee-uhn Martin Mor who has supported Frankie Boyle, Jack Dee, Lee Evans, Jasper Carrot, Patrick Kielty, Johnny Vegas, Steve Coogan, and once Tina Turner on Tour, started out as a circus entertainer. The dictionary definition of his show title is: noun, a professional entertainer who amuses by relating anecdotes, acting out comical situations, and engaging in humorous repartee. This gentle giant of a man will entertain and provide the audience with his wonderful perceptions on life. 9.05pm – Rob Rouse – Through the Looking Ass Rob Rouse, ever exuberant and recognizable from his many TV appearances including ‘8 Out Of Ten Cats’, John Bishop’s Only Joking’, ‘Celebrity Juice’, Dave’s One Night Stand and ‘The Friday Night Project’, as well as making a guest appearance on Coronation Street has a new hour to share. With his cheeky banter and extremely funny tales, he’s always one step ahead of his audience’s expectations and keeps them enthralled with his comedic storytelling.
