This will also be Lee and Layla's farewell do, so we would love to see as many familiar faces as possible before they move 300 miles away down to Devon!

Get ready for Methysis - a unique five piece melodic death/doom metal band formed in 2010 based in Derby. Taking inspiration from bands such as Swallow the Sun, Paradise Lost, Katatonia and Amorphis, this band has found a unique niche in the doom metal genre to call their own. You will be blown away by the contrast of intricate, melodic guitar parts blended with crushing riffs and the front man's soaring and guttural growling vocals. This band reeks of stage presence - and often sweat. With songs about Tibetan burial practices, growing old and dying, the darkest recesses of your soul and even Final Fantasy 7, Methysis are not to be missed!
