Saturday night comedy at the Old Bell, Derby

Funhouse Comedy Club is back at the Old Bell, Derby on Saturday October 5th for another great night of laughter.

Headlining is the hugely entertaining George Egg. Wildly brandishing the world’s second largest briefcase containing a battery of ridiculous props, George bounds onto the stage to perform one of the most original, interesting, innovative, and sweetly whimsical comedy performances you are ever likely to see.

Support from Alfie Moore who has just returned from the Edinburgh Festival, where one of his jokes was voted 3rd best in ‘Dave’s Funniest Joke of The Fringe’. He has appeared on ITV’s ‘Show Me The Funny’, BBC3’s Bizarre Crime, The Wright Stuff, Sky News and BBC Look North. A police sergeant he brings a wealth of insights and comedy moments from his eighteen years on the beat, where a keen sense of humour has been the key to his success and survival! His engaging style enables him to get serious points across whilst still making the audience laugh until they ache.

Completing the line-up will be quick-witted ‘Aussie’ Pam Ford. Her lively, sometimes shocking jokes are delivered with self-confidence and style.

Compere for the night is the cheeky and likeable Joe Bromehead.
