Funhouse Comedy Night at Bar OneDate: Sun 29th Jul Time: 14:00 EDINBURGH FESTIVAL PREVIEW ALL-DAYER AT BAR ONE, DERBY Funhouse Comedy brings an outstanding day of comedy to the beer garden stage at Bar One, Derby on Sunday July 29th with its third and final Edinburgh Festival Preview All-Dayer, of 2018. 2.00pm – Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre: Superheroes Sock! Pow! Wham! Earth's funniest footwear are back with their 10th new show of songs, sketches, socks and violence. This time they're real live Superheroes! You think you've seen heroes in tights before? This pair will run and run. 3.25pm – Ignacio Lopez – Nine Ig Fails Spain's ‘best export’, Ignacio Lopez shares his life's biggest failures with a globe-trotting story about music, comedy and cock-ups. In 2009, Ignacio got tickets to see his favourite band Nine Inch Nails in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, he didn't have any money, transport or a place to stay. What he did have was sarcasm, silliness and songs. 4.50pm – Lloyd Griffith The intrinsically funny Lloyd Griffith; who has supported Jack Whitehall on tour. As a choirboy in Grimsby he sang on ‘The National Lottery, with Dudley Moore who played the piano. And then later in life sang backing vocals on a Bee Gees album. A professional singer but always a natural jester he turned to stand-up and with his down-to-earth cynicism and lively attitude he enthralls his audience. 6.15pm – Brennan Reece - Evermore After the sold-out success of Everglow and Everlong, English Comedian of the Year winner, Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee and voice of ITV's Survival of the Fittest is back with a lovely story from a loveable boy about loving things. Lovely. As seen on BBC, ITV and Channel 4. Rob Brydon, Joe Lycett and Jason Manford tour support. 7.35pm – Nick Doody – PG For his 10th solo Fringe hour, acclaimed stand-up Nick Doody faces a challenge: to come up with a PG-rated show. Can he succeed? 8.55pm – Susan Murray An hour of fun with the feisty and friendly Susan Murray, with her cynicism and clever humour. Her informal and amiable manner always enables the crowd to relax and enjoy themselves.
