Some Details...

6AX were a 6 piece band fron the early 70's who constantly toured the UK until splitting up in 1974. They were well known for their renderings of Beach boys covers, and 60's covers along with a diverse range of Jazz Rock, Soul, Soft Rock. The band reformed in the early 2000's after a Derby group Big Bash re-union in Derby which attracted a sell out audience of over 1000 people.
The present day line-up has three of the original band members plus a keyboard player and drummer from other Derby bands. Going out as a five piece for just the occasional gig they feature some soul classics, 60's pop, 70's soft rock, Jazz rock and a little bit of late 70's Ska!
