Get Cubs are a 4-piece indie band From Burton-on-Trent. After forming in 2010, they quickly released their first EP and started touring the UK. After a fantastic response and being playlisted on BBC radio the band landed a deal with Trap 6 Records putting exciting things in the pipelines.
The release of their debut album ‘To The Mountains’ landed November 2012 getting the band international recognition with support from BBC introducing and Radio 1. Fan favorite ‘Delilah’ was radio 1′s track of the week during christmas 2012, featured on Huw Stephens podcast and session on live radio.
Following this an extensive UK tour will strike 2013 with the bands next release. Get Cubs are a tornado of upbeat chimey guitars with killer riffs, sing a long lyrics and infectious energy.
In recent news, Radio1 have confirmed that the bands track ‘Delilah’ will be play-listed from February 25th. They will be featured on the following Radio1 daytime stations:
