There are many Floyd bands, and The Floyd Effect are one of the best, but
they all play pretty much the same material drawn from albums such as Dark
Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here and The Wall.
Recognising the hugely popular back catalogue (Piper At The Gates Of Dawn,
More, Atom Heart Mother, Meddle, Obscured By Clouds) The Floyd Effect have
put together a stunning show taking you back to the heyday of psychedelia
and, some may say, Pink Floyd's most iconic era.
The More Pompeii show only includes material from the '67-'72 period,
drawing from the stunning albums of that magical time, as well as recently
discovered videos of the Floyd's live performances and seminal film Live In
Pompeii.
With lighting designed to invoke the spirit of the UFO Club, projections
from the era, lots of oil wheels, haze and incense, More Pompeii takes
audiences back to the swinging sixties and some of the greatest psychedelic
music ever written.
